By accessing or using Campus Xchange (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

Campus Xchange provides a platform for college students to buy, sell, and exchange goods and services within their campus communities. These Terms govern your use of our website, mobile application, and all related services.

2. Eligibility

To use Campus Xchange, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction
• Be currently enrolled at or affiliated with a participating college or university
• Have a valid .edu email address or other approved institutional email
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

3. User Accounts

When you create an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. Campus Xchange will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this section.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you post on Campus Xchange, including listings, reviews, and messages. By posting content, you grant Campus Xchange a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Platform.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. Content must not:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Be fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading
• Contain prohibited items (see Section 5)
• Contain harmful software or malware

5. Prohibited Items and Services

The following items and services may not be listed or sold on Campus Xchange:

• Illegal items or services
• Weapons, firearms, and ammunition
• Drugs, controlled substances, and drug paraphernalia
• Alcohol and tobacco products
• Counterfeit or stolen items
• Items that promote hate speech or discrimination
• Academic cheating services (including essay writing services)
• Sexually explicit content or services
• Personal information or data
• Any items or services prohibited by your educational institution

6. Transactions

Campus Xchange is a platform that facilitates connections between buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any transaction between users. Users are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy of listings
• Determining the fair value of items or services
• Arranging safe meeting locations for exchanges
• Ensuring the quality and condition of items
• Resolving any disputes that may arise

We strongly recommend that users meet in public, on-campus locations for all transactions and exercise caution when meeting with other users.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Campus Xchange and its officers, employees, directors, shareholders, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Platform
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Platform
• Any content obtained from the Platform
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
• Transactions between users

8. Termination

Campus Xchange reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
